ABC Care’s personal care services are specifically designed for people with disability. We offer comprehensive and personal care solutions for you or a loved one to maintain your overall health at home and community.

Engaging in social activities can be challenging for individuals with disabilities. At ABC Care, our experienced and supportive team is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment to encourage NDIS Participants to actively participate in community activities, enhancing their overall well-being.

Enhancing social and community involvement can lead to better health, more self-assurance, and a stronger feeling of community for people with disabilities.

Our support worker will help you with daily life challenges that you may have been experiencing. Our goals are not only helping participants with various tasks but also follow holistic approaches since it leads to an improvement in health and well-being.

Travelling is a generic need. But the people with disabilities might face challenges to travel by public transport from appointments to work or community events. Hence, our Assist Travel Transport plan has been designed with easy travel and transport opportunities for improving their abilities to travel independently and get around.  We take closer steps to train them in using public transport.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can be hard to navigate. ABC Care’s friendly, professional team of Support Coordinators are NDIS experts who can help you to get the most out of your NDIS plan and achieve your goals.

ABC Care has always believed in the encouraging power of community inclusion and creating better opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We encourage them to actively participate in societal events. We have specifically designed the Innovative Community Participation program for supporting the disabled to build up the necessary skills and connections so they can be fully engaged in their local community.

Under the program of group and centre-based activities, we conduct a range of activities like helping in the formation of a network of peers, familiarizing ourselves with the communities, exploring new areas of interest, and assisting in elevating the degree of confidence and others.

ABC Care provides Community Nursing Care to NDIS participants on a regular or occasional basis. Our qualified nurses and health professionals provide support services to people who have a chronic health, mental health, disability or other condition that affects their ability to carry out activities of daily living.

We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. This means we provide supports to assist people with disability to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

Under accommodation and Tenancy arrangements; where someone with a disability has a short or long stay away from their home due to personal, family or medical circumstances. This gives them the chance to try new things, make friends, learn skills and engage with and learn about different people and communities.

Challenges will be a part of life as one starts getting older. Aged people are often unsuccessful at doing certain tasks. The greatest barrier comes to keeping up with health conditions. Often they struggle with home maintenance. Nevertheless, there is always good news - the aged need not struggle alone!

"Personal Care" seems to be subjective as we consider the term literally. Everyone has their own unique habits, hence these are personal traits. But as a person starts ageing and starts suffering from injury, illness or disability; then it's essential to develop the ability for feeling fresh and clean. After all, cleanliness and tidiness are not just a privilege, it's a fundamental right common to all, that is beneficial to our overall health and well-being. With a person ageing, when he/she feels clean, then he/she feels more confident and happier, particularly while heading out.

A clean and safe home is what the elderly need for their healthy and happy lives. This domestic living comes with taking over the daily tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and washing dishes. Now with ageing, comes fatigue and with utmost certainty, they will need help and support with these daily important tasks.

Being socially active is directly proportional to maintaining good mental health and well-being. Staying connected with family and friends is fantastic for the aged members can continue with their adored activities, and ABC CARE will help in this regard.

Elderly social support by our care team helps the aged people to indulge in their favourite hobbies, visit their near and dear ones and even try any new social activity. The range of services we are offering will help in stay involved in the community while maintaining independence.

Partaking in meaningful and engaging activities to build social connections leads to optimizing health, growth and well-being. At ABC CARE, Groups and Centre Based Activities, there are opportunities for elderly adults to pursue their interests, interact with others positively in an inclusive setting and develop skills.

Assisted travel and transportation facilitated by a travel companion of ABC CARE, generally a nurse or a support worker accompanying an elderly adult on a trip. The overall purpose is to allow them to do the activities by assisting them to travel, which otherwise they would not be able to do so on their own. The support workers of ABC CARE assist the elderly adults by helping them to transport to and from a destination. Even they assist the elderly members with social support and personal care tasks necessary for the trip.

Funded under the NDIS, Counselling Services of ABC CARE is intended for the NDIS and aged participants to overcome their barriers of social inclusion and interactive difficulties. Our certified counsellors support them to build capacity and focus through Counselling services which are recovery-oriented practices so they can overcome day-to-day challenges. We are ready to provide support at the time of recovery planning and coaching. So, when your disabled or aging family member or friend should be motivated and counselled to increase their skills, and capacity, feel good and confident, and be resilient; remember the counsellors of ABC CARE.

Capacity building denotes one of the three support budgets in the NDIS Plan. Specifically, the capacity-building budget is in support of long-term independence with potential funding guided by plan goals. On the whole, it covers several therapies, activities and advocacy for the NDIS participants and aged members to grow their independence, along with funded support for:

People with disabilities are always encouraged to take specialist disability services from ABC CARE and be supported by informal carers. We are also providing disabled people with mainstream services like education, healthcare and housing.
A disability specialist support service team from ABC CARE can help disabled people participate in daily life. By supplementing the other support a person is receiving, the ABC CARE disability specialist support team is even offering mainstream services, and community and informal care.
