At ABC CARE, Groups and Centre Based Activities, there are opportunities for elderly adults to pursue their interests, interact with others positively in an inclusive setting and develop skills.

Assisted travel and transportation facilitated by a travel companion of ABC CARE, generally a nurse or a support worker accompanying an elderly adult on a trip. The overall purpose is to allow them to do the activities by assisting them to travel, which otherwise they would not be able to do so on their own. The support workers of ABC CARE assist the elderly adults by helping them to transport to and from a destination. Even they assist the elderly members with social support and personal care tasks necessary for the trip.
