Our support staff closely work with each participant as well as their support network to identify their interests, strengths and goals. Through this personalized approach, all the NDIS participants are engaged in activities and programs aligning with their preferences to support their personal development.
We have designed our community-based activities to help the participants start developing a wide range of skills, like communication, teamwork and problem-solving. Through these experiences, they experience personal growth because the activities promote greater independence and self-confidence.
Being committed to creating inclusive environments, we make sure all the NIDS participants feel welcome and supported. Through our activities and programs, we are accommodating our participants' diverse needs. At the same time, we ensure an opportunity for all to participate and thrive.
Our registered NDIS participants included in our innovative community participation program are encouraged to build lasting relationships with their peers and the wider community. Facilitating a range of group activities and events, we create opportunities for our participants to set up meaningful connections and develop a sense of belonging.
We have a dedicated support team supports, provides guidance and assistance throughout the community participation journey of the participants. We are regularly monitoring and reviewing each participant's progress as well as their experiences to ensure their needs are being properly and fully met. Likewise, we make all sorts of necessary adjustments.
Innovative Community Participation belongs to the NDIS support category that has been designed to help individuals with disabilities to get more actively and meaningfully engaged in their communities. Different from traditional supports, Innovative Community Participation is focused on personalized and creative approaches to foster independence, well-being, social inclusion and personal growth.
Innovative Community Participation is in support of a wide range of activities, which are social outings, hobbies, volunteering, attending community events, participating in social skills training programs and joining interest-based groups. Individual goals and preferences will decide the specific activities.
Any NDIS participant is capable of accessing Innovative Community Support if it is in alignment with their goals and needs. It's essential to discuss the aspirations with the NDIS planner of ABC CARE to be sure of eligibility. An NDIS planner will assess your needs and include appropriate Innovative Community Participation support in the plan.
Innovative Community Participation provides different opportunities for meeting new people, developing friendships and participating in community activities. It is helpful to the individuals to build social skills, a sense of belonging and confidence.
Innovative Community Participation helps in discovering new passions and interests to the NDIS participant. At ABC CARE, we are offering a variety of activities and programs for them to explore. Our NDIS planner will even assist in identifying the potential areas of interest.
