Krishna Bhattarai, the Founding Director, has been an integral part of ABC Care since 2018, bringing unwavering dedication and a passion for helping others to the forefront. Originally from Bhutan, Krishna has called Australia home since his arrival and has made a significant positive impact in the community, particularly within the Far North region.
A registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from Griffith University, specialising in mental health, Krishna brings extensive cross-sector experience to his role as a Clinical Coordinator. As former President of the Cairns Bhutanese Community Inc., he worked with government and non-government bodies to support vulnerable families, promote community well-being, address CALD issues, engage closely with First Nations communities, and advocate for social justice and equity across all support services.
Krishna's compassionate, person-centred approach, combined with his deep understanding of mental health challenges, has established him as a valued leader at ABC Care. Under his guidance, ABC Care continues to thrive as a trusted provider of NDIS and My Aged Care services, empowering individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
